The Residenzplatz concerts are an open-air event that brings international rock stars and Austrian music stars directly to the historic heart of Salzburg's old town. On 29 and 30 May 2026, Salzburg's old town will become an open-air stage: Danish band Volbeat will kick things off on Friday, followed by Austropop highlights Pizzera & Jaus, Wolfgang Ambros and AVEC on Saturday.

The action extends from the paddock at Residenzplatz to the city trial and the races on Gaisbergstraße.
